Nothing to Wine about! We're Raising Money for our Australia Trip by Selling Wine!

How much Australian wine can you fit in the boot of a car? A whole lot!

Our wine sales are moving along. There's a lot more to sell so feel free to contact us if you want your own bottles of red and white wine! You can find more information about type and price via this link!

Buy a Handmade Apron to Support our Australia Trip!

This beautiful, handmade apron could be yours for 15 Euro! There's also another version in stripes. It's great quality, made with love and care by one of our student's grandmothers, who already sold 6 of them. She can make up to about 15 more available to those interested! Contact us if you too want to be the owner of such an exclusive, high-quality apron!

Nothing Like a Flea Market on a Hot Summer Day to Prepare You for Summer in Australia!

On the 3rd of July, we took part in a "flea market" (rommelmarkt) in Kortrijk to raise money for our trip to Australia. It was a hot, sunny day! It was good practice for the heat we can expect when we visit Australia in February 2016, which happens to be summertime there!

We made people happy with our little treasures and raised more than 200 Euro selling our old stuff! We plan to take part in more flea markets, so feel free to donate items that you don't need anymore. They might make someone else happy and they could add to our funds :-). As the English expression says: "one man's garbage is another's gold" or "one man's trash is another man's treasure".

Working Hard to Raise Money for the Trip to Australia!

On the 1st of July, students Ayla and Diana made a 3 course dinner for 21 people who were kind enough to donate almost 300 Euro all together!

Diana and Ayla also got to practice their English as some of the people there were from The United States. All the guests also were able to sample the Australian wine with the meal in case they want to purchase some themselves in the future!

Speaking of people from The USA (and elsewhere in the world), Ayla's GoFundMe campaign for Australia has been doing well and will hopefully continue to bring in some extra funding!

Check out other recent posts about other ways we're all busy raising money for the trip via car washes, wine and cookie sales, flea markets and more. Make sure to register for our BBQ on 29/08 via above post!
