This
morning Prescillia was singing and screaming at 7 o’clock (again) but we think
it’s really funny, because she always has so much energy, which is very
entertaining. Without her we wouldn’t be able to wake up J . So we met at 9am to go for
breakfast, a five-minute-walk from where we are staying. We finally had coffee
(which made Ms Tytgat delighted) and yummy toast, croissant or muesli.
After that
we went to the dolphin discovery center and we enjoyed it so much! While we
were waiting for the boat to arrive, they called us out to the beach because
the dolphins came so close!
We could step into the sea and the dolphins were
only a metre or so from us. It was really great! Then we did a tour on water
with the boat and we saw many, many beautiful dolphins. After lunch we got a
free hour to buy souvenirs and to take a nice swim, which we needed because it
was so hot today. Of course some of us were happy to get an nice tan. Justine
(as always) got a really nice red tan, even though she had applied multiple
layers of sunscreen and Diana did as well.
Around 3pm
we went to the war memorial and I found it really interesting. We learned more
about several soldiers. Justine and Amandine read their poem together too.
The
teachers gave us 2 hours to shop a little, so we could search for a new
suitcase for Prescillia since hers was broken (hilarious sight). While I’m
writing this we are sitting at the garden of the hostel waiting to go eat.
Yummy!

We had
dinner in the Rose Hotel, a 150-year old beautiful building and it was really
tasty. The lady at counter was from Brussels, but after four years in Australia
she sounded like a real Australian.
To end the
day we walked to the beach and enjoyed the sound and smell of the sea water. We
are ready for yet another day full of adventure in Collie.
