Today we
slept in so we woke up at 8.30. After we had packed, we had breakfast in one of
our little houses. After that some of us checked whether we had forgotten
anything, the others washed the dishes or put the luggage in the car. Then we
had a 1 hour and a half journey to Bridgetown. When we arrived we went to the Memorial Park
to see the monument, there Liesl read her poem and after the pledge we had a
minute silence.
Some of us were scared of the wasps in the park so it was quite funny for those who weren’t scared of them. It was about 12.30 when we left the park so we went eating in the Cidery, it was very tasty and the cider was so good! (it was a non-alcoholic one, don’t flip parents ;) )
It wasn’t 3 pm so we couldn’t check in yet so we went to see alpacas, it was so much fun and we were allowed to touch them so everybody was excited. After feeding and caressing them we needed to go the hotel so we left. We checked in and then went to see the Christmas shop, but it was closing when we arrived. The teachers had another nice shop in mind, a candy shop! Unfortunately we needed to wait 20 minutes, because the owner wasn’t there. When he finally arrived he gave us a free candy and then we bought a lot of candy!!
It was about 5 pm when we left the shop and we immediately went swimming because we have a swimming pool in our hotel.
And now we're in the restaurant, writing this to post on the blog after we ate a very delicious meal and dessert. It was a fun day today.
